Get ready to kill it Texas style- Assault City Roller Derby is excited to announce a Derby and Dance Clinic with Freight Train from the Texas Roller Girls. This clinic is open to all WFTDA and MRDA skaters. The clinic will be split into two portions, 40% dance skate skills and 60% roller derby.
When: Saturday February 1st 2020
Where: ACRD’s practice space The Vault off the Shoppingtown Mall foodcourt, Syracuse NY.
How much: Tickets are $35
Skaters must have WFTDA/ MRDA minimum skills as well as WFTDA/MRDA insurance.
Don’t mess with the hassle of baking your own pies for Thanksgiving! Buy a pie from us instead! Just $15 gets you a pie fresh-baked by one of our very own skaters, or you can get two pies for $25! That’s a bargain for delicious pie and the satisfaction of knowing you helped support your local roller derby league!
The wait is over! New open house sessions are here. Come find us on July 10th or July 12th to learn how you can take your first steps to joining ACRD as a skater, referee, non-skating official, or volunteer. We’ll meet you in the food court of Shoppingtown Mall, then walk you to our practice space to provide information about the league and give you a chance to talk with some of our members. Don’t worry if you can’t skate (yet)! We take people of all experience levels and teach you what you need to know to make the team!
Join Assault City for our first ever Pride Night, a CNY Pride Official event!
A portion of the proceeds from our raffle tickets from this bout will be going to the Volunteer Layers Project.
ACRD’s A Squad will be playing Central New York Roller Derby Nightmares whistle starts this bout at 5:00pm followed by a bout at 7:00pm with ACRD’s B team VS CNYRD’s Daybreakers !
Half time, and intermission music will be provided by Modern Instincts- check them out on Facebook and give them a like!
General admission tickets will be available at the door for $12 or in advance for $10. Kids as always, 12 and under get in free!
