Why sponsor us?
Salt City Roller Derby is Syracuse, New York’s first and only flat-track roller derby team. We are a volunteer-led non-profit 501(C) (3) organization. Skaters and volunteers fund SCRD with monthly dues. Our dues, donations, and sponsorships are essential to the league’s function. We’re proud to be able to provide our skaters and volunteers with proper practice and game-day spaces, safety gear and skates for new skaters to borrow, training programs, and hardship credit for dues. We’d like to make roller derby more accessible to the Syracuse area by offering more starter gear, new skater programs, and scholarships for marginalized skaters. You can help us achieve these goals with just a single donation!
As a sponsor, we’ll put your name in the spotlight at our bouts, on our website, and on our social media. We also regularly feature and interact with our sponsors during the year with fun special events like guest bartending and atlatl throwing.
