Salt City vs. Kingston Roller Derby

Join Salt City as we take on our friends from north of the border – Kingston Roller Derby! Bout starts at 6pm, doors are at 5:00pm. This Bout benefits The AAWCC American Association for Women in Community Colleges. All raffle ticket proceeds will be donated to this amazing cause.

Masks are not required but STRONGLY recommended when in close quarters to each other. Please be kind to others and respect each other should people choose to wear a mask.

General admission tickets will be available at the door for $10. Kids as always, 12 and under get in free and OCC Students are $1!!!

SCRD Presents: Summer Heat Scrimmage

Beat the summer heat and catch some live roller derby action with this fun summer scrimmage hosted by your Favorite local Roller derby team… Salt City Roller Derby!

Watch as skaters from SCRD and other leagues across central and upstate New York in a Tropics vs Desert themed mash up!

Teams will be announced soon!

Doors will open at 2:30pm and the first whistle is at 3pm. Tickets are $5 at the door and kids 12 and under are free.

We encourage people to dress up in theme if possible and choose your side, either Tropical or desert!

***All guests are REQUIRED to wear masks upon entry and while in the SRC ARENA GYM. Please try to follow social distancing if possible.***

Interested in becoming a roller derby skater or referee? There will be information at the scrimmage about how to sign up for SCRD’s September new recruits bootcamp, and some of our skaters will be available afterward to answer questions about getting involved with roller derby. We will also have NEW SCRD MERCH for sale!

LIVE ROLLER DERBY IS BACK BABY!

Come watch your beloved Salt City Roller Derby in their first bout since 2019! CTRL Salt Delete will be taking on the Fast + Flurrious in a bout themed battle of the snow plows!

Tickets are $8 at the door and kids 12 and under are free!!!Come cheer on your favorite home team.*

Make sure to snag a new shirt or other items with our brand new logo!

During half time we’ll introduce you to our newest recruits while we get them use to a crowd. They’ll be playing a quick game of sock derby. A game of derby played in socks to keep the focus on how the game is played with out all the falling.

*due to covid-19 Salt City Roller Derby have created to inner league teams “Home Teams” to play against each other until cases go down, and other leagues in the area start up again. This is our solution to bringing roller derby back to Syracuse and still be able to keep our members and fans safe. See less
